
Venice 90291 is an eclectic beach community that traces its roots to land developer Abbot Kinney, a well-traveled businessman who sought to share his love of culture with Los Angelenos in the early 1920’s.
Bounded on the South by Washington Boulevard and the Venice Pier, on the north by Navy/Dewy Streets and on the east (give or take a few blocks on the south end) by Walgrove Avenue, Venice boasts Muscle Beach, Ocean Front Walk (more casually known as the “Venice Boardwalk”), acclaimed surf hotspot Venice Breakwater, the Venice Pier and other sports and water-oriented landmarks.
Venice has always been known as a hangout for the creative and the artistic. More recently, digital tech types have flocked to Venice and Santa Monica to form what is increasingly becoming known as Silicon Beach.Â
